Module summary

This module enables students with a CEFR A2+ in Spanish or similar level of linguistic competence in Spanish (i.e., GSCE+1) to further develop their language skills up to B1+ of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Language Learning in this module is student-centred and task-based. The classroom is conceived as a social space for communication. Listening, reading, writing, speaking, interaction and translation and interpreting tasks will be set. Learning outcomes will be assessed through coursework tasks integrating several linguistic skills, and final written and oral exams. Please note this is an optional module and runs subject to enrolments. If a low number of students choose this module, then the module may not run and you may be asked to choose another module.
